We're used to seeing her nifty moves on the dancefloor, but Karina Smirnoff is just as graceful on water... it would seem.
The 34-year-old was spotted expertly paddle boarding at the Oakley Learn to Ride event in Miami Beach, Florida today.
Not just a good dancer! Karina Smirnoff looked to be a professional paddle boarder in Miami Beach today
Showing her usual enviable physique, the smiling brunette looked cute and sporty in a leopard-print bikini top and brightly coloured sports shorts.
Karina is a favourite on the ABC show, and won this year's first season with her perfectly honed moves... and body.
Karina, originally from Ukraine, revealed that her triumph on Dancing with the Stars the season before last wasn't without its difficulties.
'I tried to be careful with my muscles and joints, but this season was really strenuous on the body,' she recently told Rockstar magazine.
She and war veteran turned soap star J.R Martinez beat Rob Kardashian and his partner Cheryl Burke into second place last season, while Ricki Lake and Derek Hough came in third.
Karina has long been an advocate of using dance to keep fit.
'It's a well-rounded workout,' she told website SheKnows.com last year. 'You don't work one muscle group, you work the whole body. It's great cardio.
'You have fun when you dance and you work out. You forget that you're actually physically working and sweating. You're enjoying the process and at the same time, toning up, losing weight and burning calories.'
Epic form: Karina is honest about her struggle to maintain her shape and fitness for the competition
And, according to the star, even the slow dances will keep you in shape.
'The slow dances like the waltz and the rumba are so slow that you have to have so much control and you're using different muscle groups to make sure that you control every step.'
Diet is also important to the star who advises women to eat pineapple 'because it breaks up muscle and fat.'
She added: 'I overdose on spinach and instead of drinking soda, I'll snack on watermelon because it's also a diuretic.'
The new season of Dancing With The Stars is set to return in the autumn, with Karina back to the show's taxing rehearsal schedule.
'Dancing with the Stars is a very gruelling experience; we have eight to 10 hours a day of rehearsal,' she said.
