Eva kept her brunette locks off her face by tying them into a high ponytail and had no fear as she balanced on the board while firmly gripping the oar.
Eva wasn't just doing the sport for fun - she was also filming for her new matchmaking TV show Ready for Love.
And the star wasn’t going it alone as she was joined on the beach by two hunky men, possibly contestants in the programme.
A muscular mystery man paddled alongside Eva and the pair seemed to be sharing a joke prior to taking to the water.
A spokesperson for Eva confirmed her split from Eduardo at the end of last month, just weeks after they had enjoyed a romantic holiday to Spain.
It has since been rumoured that she is secretly dating NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez, according to In Touch Weekly.
The star reportedly donned a blonde wig for one of three dates with the 25-year-old New York Jets player in recent weeks.
A source told the tabloid the pair was 'laughing and having a great time' with a group of friends at New York City's Hotel Griffou when Eva went incognito.
The pair is also said to have enjoyed a rendez-vous in the Caribbean, and despite their star status, managed to go unnoticed.
The athlete was recently linked to Sports Illustrated model Kate Upton.
Eva recently revealed she was going on a 'new journey' in her life following the end of Housewives, in which she played Gabrielle Solis.
Surfer chick: The end of Desperate Housewives has meant Eva is free to work on a host of new projects including her matchmaking show
She said: 'In the moment of doing the last episode, it was bittersweet, it was very emotional to leave this family I've had for eight years, our crew and our cast. It was really heartbreaking to know I would never play Gabby again.
'I mean, all of that was really sad, but at the same time, I'm so excited to turn the page and embark on this new journey of my career, of my life.
'You know, Desperate Housewives [was] all-consuming. It's year-round filming. It's always in L.A., you don't have time to travel, you don't have time to do movies, you don't have time to do anything else. So now, I feel like a free bird.'
